Notion has a superb template system. Easily customisable and very flexible. Using a template system like this means that I can start to structure my thoughts AND improve that structural organisation for the future by adjusting the templates I use. THis is much better than a fixed system or a system imposed by an outside agent.

This links to my ‣ debate, in that part of the reason Readwise isn't suitable for me is not only because of its cost, but because I can't customise it in the same way I can Anki and Notion in terms of workflow. I can change how much quotations appear, but I can't add imagery or sound and I can't adapt the workflow of the app.

Thinking is about ordering the ideas in your mind into a useful structure. My creating a framework for thinking through the use of templates, I create a shortcut to meet this end.
