Notion has a superb template system. Easily customisable and very flexible. Using a template system like this means that I can start to structure my thoughts AND improve that structural organisation for the future by adjusting the templates I use. THis is much better than a fixed system or a system imposed by an outside agent.

This links to my debate, in that part of the reason Readwise isn't suitable for me is not only because of its cost, but because I can't customise it in the same way I can Anki and Notion in terms of workflow. I can change how much quotations appear, but I can't add imagery or sound and I can't adapt the workflow of the app.

Thinking is about ordering the ideas in your mind into a useful structure. My creating a framework for thinking through the use of templates, I create a shortcut to meet this end.
