Note taking should be a spontaneous as well as a planned action. The creation of notes should create as little friction as possible.
I use #Google Keep to collect quick notes on the go. These function as fleeting notes.
Articles are saved to Pocket and are tagged at that time to create playlists to be played as audio using the read aloud function of the app.
Notes are taken via ‣ on physical books while I am reading them.
This may interrupt reading to some degree, but leaving the recording of notes until after a book is complete increases the friction and decreases the enjoyment of completing a text.
Highlights from Pocket (and other reading) are converted to Notion pages through ‣ and visited during the #Weekly review.
